Trauma Therapy

Trauma Therapy

Trauma can come from a single overwhelming experience, but it can also develop through repeated experiences of feeling unsafe, unseen, rejected, or unsupported. Over time, these experiences can shape the way you see yourself, navigate relationships, respond to conflict, or feel in your own body.

Trauma can show up in ways that aren’t always obvious: anxiety, people-pleasing, perfectionism, difficulty trusting others, feeling disconnected from yourself, or having reactions that feel bigger than the moment in front of you.

Trauma therapy helps us gently explore where these patterns came from and work through the experiences that may still be impacting your present. Together, we’ll create space for your story without forcing you to move faster than you’re ready for, using trauma-informed therapy and EMDR when appropriate.
